Threat of New School Attack in Santa Fe After Student's Murder

Buenos Aires, April 2 (NA) -- Following the shooting with a fatal outcome at a school in the Santa Fe locality of San Cristóbal, messages that were disseminated among the students of the institution have come to light. These messages refer to threats due to a supposed 'Plan B' that seeks to 'kill in groups' and indicate that the attacker's goal may not have been a single murder. As reported by the Argentine News Agency, this Friday, April 3, a hearing to formalize charges will be held against the 15-year-old student for the crime committed with a shotgun that resulted in the death of 13-year-old Ian Cabrera at the Mariano Moreno N.º 40 Normal School in Santa Fe. The disseminated text is addressed to the students: 'Hello guys, how are you?'. It states that a student from the technical school belonged to Gino's group and therefore they are going to carry out what he could not finish. For some of the National School, Agricultural or Commercial -- I don't know if anyone is from Commercial; I need you to listen to me. There is a rumor of a new shooting at the National School, possibly'. The message then asks the reason and explains: 'Because, supposedly, as Plan A, which would be the one by 'The Chin' -- the aggressor, Gino C. -- failed, they will use Plan B, which would be to kill in groups of three or four very well-armed guys, who possibly will carry (...) I don't know, a 26, a 20, a 20-gauge, whatever. They say it's another one from the same sect in the technical school. I have an audio that reveals almost everything. So, please, let them know and be very careful', the text concluded. Clearly, facing this panorama, the authorities of the educational institution summoned the parents and first and third-year students. 'Go armed with that type of quality weapons and kill more people than is appropriate'.
